Mr Raj Kumar Badole, Minister of Social Justice and Special Assistance
Mr Raj Kumar Badole, Minister of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra was on a short visit to the United Kingdom to finalize the purchase of the property, 10 Kings Henry Road, North London where Dr Ambedkar stayed during his studies during 1921-22. In spite of his busy scheduled, he spared some time to meet the representatives of the Federation of Ambedkarite and Buddhist Organizations UK (FABO UK) at the Ambedkar Centre at Southall.It is reminded that the proposal to buy the house was submitted to the Government of Maharashtra by Ms Santosh Dass MBE, President of the Federation of Ambedkarite and Buddhist Organizations UK (FABO UK).






Ms Santosh Dass MBE welcomed the minister and thanked him for accepting FABO UK’s proposal. In his short but affective speech, Mr Badole said, “He comes from a village. Her mother’s words for education still echo in her ears. If you want to be successful, She stressed that follow Babasaheb and get education”. Today whatever he is, it is because of Babasaheb and it is our duty to fulfil his mission. Arun kumar, General Secretary, FABO UK added that securing the Ambedkar house, the government of Maharashtra has secured a very important piece of history.
